This week appMobi announced its MobiUs mobile web browser, which enables developers to create apps which behave and feel like native apps–using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript.
Using standard web technologies, MobiUs allows developers to access a mobile phone’s native functionality including the camera, accelerometer, contacts, GPS, files and storage, touch, gestures and more.
MobiUs will enable the use of JavaScript APIs from the appMobi XDK, PhoneGap and the Wholesale Applications Community (WAC), and will provide the methodology to build complex web apps that look and act like traditional native mobile applications.
