Mozilla is releasing Firefox 55 today, and the latest iteration of the open source browser will support virtual reality (VR). Firefox’s VR support is based on the WebVR standard. For now, it only works with two headsets: HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge also support VR, with Chrome boasting the longest list of supported hardware.
Firefox 55 also includes a new beta feature called Screenshots that will save screenshots to the cloud.
