Fabric Engine brings JavaScript to C++ level

Fabric Engine release v1.0 of their all new multi-threaded optimised execution of scripting languages. The new system supports JavaScript and Python and Ruby and PHP are currently being developed. Benchmarks indicate Fabric Engine based applications are as fast or faster then those developed in C++ applications. Typically that type of performance would make scripting languages a viable option for use in high performance computing, or HPC environments. Fabric Engine 1.0 is now available for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, but it can also be used in such browsers as Firefox and Chrome and other server-side and in cloud environments. The Fabric Engine works by allowing developers to use special interfaces and a high-performance scripting language called KL for performance critical parts of the code; for the rest of the application they can continue to program in one of the supported scripting languages. FabricEngine say this does not require specific HPC skills or C++ experience. Click here to download and read more about this great new tool.
