AWS CodeStar, CodeBuild Add .NET Core Support

Jul 17, 2017

Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced that two of its cloud computing services — AWS CodeStar and AWS CodeBuild — now support .NET Core, Microsoft’s open source development platform for creating Web applications.

CodeStar has new .NET Core templates. And CodeBuild, which simplifies building and deploying applications, now enables developers to deploy .NET Core applications on AWS’s EC2 and Lambda services. “These new project templates enable you to deploy .NET Code applications to Amazon EC2 Linux Instances, and provides everything you need to get started quickly, including .NET Core sample code and a full software development toolchain,” explained an AWS blog post.
