Web Developers Report Uptick in Demand

Aug 11, 2017

A new Evans Data survey commissioned by GoDaddy finds that nearly 80 percent of Web developers are experiencing at least 25 percent client growth per year. About a third of developers surveyed said their client lists grew by more than 50 percent, and about the same number have revenues exceeding half a million dollars per year.

“Two decades after general internet adoption, this research indicates that the ‘Golden Era’ of web development and design shows no sign of slowing down,” Raghu Murthi, a GoDaddy senior vice president, said. “But the research also provides lessons to new web professionals on the importance of continued learning and the need to manage growth and focus on looking where your next clients will come from.”
