In yet another step towards the release of Internet Explorer 9, Microsoft released the full beta release of IE 9. This release includes a new interface and additional support for HTML5.
This release is targeted to developers, and doesn’t include the full browser interface, only featuring a simple toolbar. It does, however, include developer tools which are accessed by hitting the F12 key. The developer tools do a much better job of handling JavaScript.
This preview includes support for HTML5’s semantic elements, making it easier for developers to define, link and display semantic content. It also includes support for CSS3 2D Transforms, which provide an improved display, and better handling of elements.
