In a project built with Visual Studio .Net 2013 and K4Wv2 API alpha bits that where released back in November 2013, it’s a simple example of how to listen for Kinect v2 API events using C++. The project was originally meant to be a sort of tutorial intended to demonstrate how to write modern C++ code that will listen for Kinect for windows v2 Frame arrived event and built using the alpha Kinect v2 API library.
