Google Instant enables users to search before they have even finished typing, but Google never changed their search algorithm, so previous SEO practices were not affected. Content, keywords and link building remain the most effective measures a website can take to enhance their SEO rankings.
The Instant services was created to enhance the user search experience, and is said to save each user about two seconds per search.
