GeoEdge has just released their latest security report regarding the security aspects of Flash, HTML5, and Video in the Ad Tech Industry. The report concluded that there are many techniques for malvertising infection that don’t require the use of Flash in the ad creative and that even HTML5 video ads could have malicious code inserted into the ad itself or and any number of the vast parameters and with JavaScript code being the base language for HTML5, malicious code can be packaged in HTLM5 without much difficulty.
