Cloudflare Offers Startups $100K in Google Cloud Credits

Web content delivery and security platform provider Cloudflare has announced that it is partnering with Google to offer cloud computing credits to startups. Companies that write apps that run on Cloudflare’s Apps Platform will be eligible for Google Cloud Platform credits ranging from $3,000 to $100,000. Startups must apply and complete an approval process to receive the credits, and only “exceptional” applications will receive the $100,000 awards.

“This is just another example of how we’re continuing to find new and collaborative ways to encourage app development and unlock access to Cloudflare’s global infrastructure in a scalable way,” said Cloudflare co-founder and CEO Matthew Prince.

Cloudflare boasts that more than 6 million websites use its services to speed performance and secure content delivery.
