Google announces that the Chrome browser update will allow the browser to take up considerably less battery life. How will it do this, simple, by limiting how often Adobe Flash is running. Google explains in a blog post that “When you’re on a webpage that runs Flash, we’ll intelligently pause content (like Flash animations) that aren’t central to the webpage, while keeping central content (like a video) playing without interruption,”.
