Chakra JavaScript Engine Goes Open Source

Microsoft had developed a JavaScript engine in 2008 under the codename Chakra which was first implemented in Internet Explorer 9 and the latest version of Chakra is not only in the Edge browser, but also supports Universal Windows 10 Apps including Cortana, Outlook.com, TypeScript, and Node.js for Windows 10 IoT Core.
