Denis Sinegubko, a threat researcher at Sucuri says a “massive” advertising scam campaign is underway and currently affecting users visiting WordPress sites. The attack is injecting a backdoor and continuously re-infecting sites. Sinegubko goes on to say in the article that the new malware is infecting all accessible .js files throughout all domains on the same hosting account known as a cross-site contamination.
