PC Magazine has completed an analysis of the various mobile networks, and it concluded that Verizon is still the fastest—but not by much. According to the article, “In our tests across the US, Verizon offered the most reliable and consistent high-speed network overall, but split individual wins for 36 cities and rural regions three ways with AT&T and T-Mobile—the first time we’ve seen that kind of an even divide.” It also noted that AT&T had the fastest download speeds.
Overall, Verizon achieved a score of 97, T-Mobile 96, AT&T 93 and Sprint 74.
The report also noted that download speeds seem to be doubling every two years.
