VMware Ditches Flash Client for new HTML5 Web Client

With obvious security vulnerabilities inherent to Adobe’s Flash as well as other factors, has led VMware, along with most companies, to move to HTML5 for their client development. The Web client is being distributed as an appliance inside a virtual machine (VM), and “been designed to work with your existing vSphere 6.0 environments,” Srikaanth blogged.
