Tumult’s Hype 1.0.3 Creates HTML5-based Animations Without Coding

Aug 10, 2011

Mac developers will be excited to hear about Tumult’s Hype 1.0.3, a Mac-based tool that enables non-programmers to create HTML5-based animations. Hype is easy for beginners to use, features a simple interface, and can be used to create impressive animations that will work across multiple devices and platforms.

Hype enables users to create multiple animations for a given element, allowing for a different appearance within an animated scene. Users can cause animations, scene transitions with dissolve or push effect, and JavaScript actions to occur in resonse to user events such as mouse clicks.

The Hype Inspector tool enables finite adjustments to properties such as angle, color and opacity. It also creates a list of potential browser incompatibilities for any given adjustment that is made. Objects can be previewed in Hype as well as a web browser, providing the ability to see your work before you save any changes.
