The Core Protocol of the World Wide Web is Approved by IETF

The IETF by the IESG has approved the HTTP/2 draft update on the core protocol of the World Wide Web. The new version of HTTP provides for better and faster web apps and helps reduce the gap between installable apps and web apps while boosting the interoperability and improving the path for more secure connections which reduces the need for existing performance “hacks”.
