Apr 27, 2011

One of the leading HTML5 framework and tool providers, Sencha, this week announced the release of the Ext JS 4 advanced JavaScript framework. This release is a milestone for the company, with new features including support for all current web browsers and an improved data package.

Abe Elias, Sencha’s CTO, described the release, stating that “Ext JS 4 is the most advanced framework we’ve ever shipped, and gives enterprises and development firms tremendous firepower to build the next generation of cross-platform web apps. Whether you’re using our new UI components, the new charting package, or theming your application, Ext JS 4 makes it easy to build an advanced, highly functional app that harnesses the power and ubiquity of the web, regardless of which browser you’re using.”

By using Ext JS 4, developers can create innovative, interactive web applications without the use of plugins. The Ext JS 4 framework features advanced drawing, charting and graphing functionality and renders impressive visuals through all current browsers and mobile devices.
