According to Encoding.com and their 2016 global media format report, the everlasting Adobe video codec, Flash, could be completely gone within the next two years. And still with Flash penetration still looming around 6 percent of mobile and web video in 2015 but even with its significant drop from 21 percent a year earlier, Flash presses on.
