Chrome 55 Promises to save on RAM when Handling JavaScript

Google has been actively working on reducing the popular Chrome browsers need for RAM and the next is expected to consume fewer resources thanks to improved JavaScript handling. The Chrome team that works on Google’s Javascript engine (V8) writes in a blogpost that websites using a lot of Javascript will consume a lot less RAM memory. Given that many modern sites thrive on JavaScript, the next version of the browser should lead to dramatic improvements. This also resulted in reduced average and peak memory usage.
