After Apple’s announcements over the last week concerning the easing of licensing restrictions for iOS devices, it’s apparent that Apple has changed its mind about the use of third party development tools. AppTech Corp. hopes that with less restrictions, developers will be able to port iPhone apps to other OSes, such as Google’s Android.
The CEO of AppTech Corp., Eric Ottens, believes that by opening up the development process to third party software, it will speed up the availability of apps for other operating systems. He also believes it will potentially create an entry point for developers who have been waiting to port their apps to iOS devices.
