And Yet Another WordPress Plug-In That You Simply Must Have by Automattic

Sep 11, 2012

Being offered to WordPress VIP customers, this new tool lets writers blog from live events without having to open the administrative backend to create a post. With the plug-in in place, users can simply type into the Liveblog box and click publish to go live. If you’re nervous, you can preview first, but the idea with live blogging is to get it out there quickly. Particularly useful for publications, many of which are VIP customers. The VIP program provides a higher level of service for WordPress customers with greater scalability for larger sites, social media integration and increased security, among other features.
