Google Launches Open Source Website

By HTMLGoodies Staff

Google has launched a new website called Google Open Source, and it provides information and links to more than 2,000 projects, including many that Google uses for its own Web development projects. It also includes millions of lines of codes that Google itself has released under open source licenses. In addition, the site offers more information about open source in general, including how to participate in projects.

"Google believes that open source is good for everyone," says the website. "By being open and freely available, it enables and encourages collaboration and the development of technology, solving real world problems."
