Google Announces a New Way to Tag Your WordPress Articles

Google announce a new method to tag keywords in WordPress articles with the goal of empowering news writers with the ability to write their stories freely while assisting Google News in properly classifying the news content so that it’s properly discovered when being searched. Webmasters are encouraged to remember that metatags will be one signal among many that allow Google’s algorithms to determine the proper ranking for each article. The news keywords metatag plug-in is intended as a tool to provide readers with the information to which they seek, high-quality reporting and interesting news content remains the strongest way to put your newsroom’s work in front of Google’s user community.
