Edge Browser to Get a Speed Boost

When Microsoft releases its Windows 10 Fall Creators Update later this year, the Edge browser will have some improvements. The company hopes to speed up the browser, eliminating the lag that sometimes occurs when opening a new tab or typing a URL.

In addition, the company will alter the look of the browser so that it is more in keeping with its new Fluent Design System. Microsoft also hopes to bring progressive web apps (PWAs) to Edge. PWAs are websites that become more like apps.
