A pre-release version of the Chrome Canary App for Android now has a setting that allows users to turn on ad-blocking capabilities. Interested Web developers could download Canary from Google Play for hints about which types of advertisements the final version is likely to block. Prestitial ads and repeated pop-ups will almost certainly be among the blocked formats.
