Microsoft LightSwitch Even Turns On Non-Developers

In yet another announcement that has left developers raising their eyes, Microsoft has announced another non-developer tool called LightSwitch which is designed to enable business professionals to handle tasks normally reserved for developers.

LightSwitch uses templates and other components that in most cases requires no coding or programming experience. Another Visual Studio tool aimed at beginners or non-programmers, Visual Studio LightSwitch was designed to enabled non-programmers to create business applications which utilize cloud computing, and are ready for desktop use.

Senior director of developer marketing at Microsoft, Dave Mendlen, stated that "LightSwitch provides a variety of prebuilt templates and tools to build business applications that target the cloud or desktop using as much or as little code as you want to write."
