Angular 5 Release Delayed Until October

Google has announced that the release of Angular 5 will be delayed until October 23. The next version of the popular open source JavaScript framework was to have arrived in September.

Key improvements in Angular 5 include support for progressive Web apps, a build optimizer and improvements related to Material Design.

As a result of the delay with Angular 5, Angular 6 will be pushed back to March or April 2018, with Angular 7 showing up in September of October 2018.
