SproutCore HTML5 Mobile Development Platform User Groups Springing Up

Jun 28, 2011

This week Appnovation Technologies announced the launch of its monthly SproutCore user group meetups. The first SproutCore meetup is scheduled to occur in the Vancouver, Canada area in July, and is a way for SproutCore, mobile and JavaScript developers to network and stay up to date on the latest developments for the JavaScript framework.

The SproutCore framework is based on HTML5 and JavaScript, and enables developers to create mobile apps that work on multiple platforms including iOS, Android and Blackberry devices. SproutCore has been around since 2007, and was written by Charles Jolley and his associates.

The initial SproutCore meetup will have special guests Luis Sala, Director of Technical Account Management for Strobe, and Strobe Senior Software Engineer and SproutCore Core Team Member Tom Dale.
