Open Source CMS Battle: Joomla!, Drupal and WordPress

Jul 27, 2011

After several years of new content management systems (CMS) coming and going, the top three open source CMSes are still the same: Joomla!, Drupal and WordPress. Developers have different reasons for their preferences, but it likely breaks down to the intuitiveness of the CMS, its functionality, and how easy it is to learn to use. But yet, which is the best?

The folks at Devious Media just finished a very detailed breakdown of the three CMSes, breaking it down to the most important issues for developers. In fact, they took all of that information and included it in a comparative chart which even includes a timeline for each CMS, along with an excellent feature breakdown.

You can see the chart and the original article here.
