HTML5 Development Gets a Boost from Brightcove

Brightcove open-sources App Cloud to fuel HTML5 development with their new, free and open-source platform designed to enable HTML5 and JavaScript developers to build native apps for Apple iOS and Google Android. Brightcove has successfully married and HTML5 web development model to a cloud content service which enables developer to create apps using native device abilities such as alerts, camera function, accelerometer and location services and features an open-source JavaScript SDK with native containers for building cross-platform apps designed to access native device API’s.
