Web analytics firm Statcounter has released a new report which says that Android now accounts for a larger share of Internet usage than Windows does. In March, Android had a 37.93 percent share, while Windows’ was slightly lower at 37.91 percent. Those figures come from tracking traffic at 2.5 million websites.
Android is the most popular operating system in much of Asia and Africa, while Windows is still number one in North America and much of Europe.
On the Apple side, iOS had a 13.09 percent share, compared to 5.17 percent for OS X.
