What Do Adobe and Microsoft Have In Common? An Enemy

Microsoft and Adobe will likely never come together for many reasons, however many experts feel that such a merger may be in both company's best interests, especially when you factor in the complementary aspects of Adobe Flash and Microsoft Silverlight.

Similarities aside, most agree that the two shall never meet, citing differences in corporate style, user interface concepts and attitudes towards customers. Much like a merger between Burger King and McDonald's, although many customers may approve, it isn't likely to occur outside of a dream.

As noted in the industry, Apple has stated many times that Adobe's Flash will never be on its iOS devices such as the iPhone or iPad. Adobe believes that the internet is not the same with its technology. Will the two ever meet? Not likely, but at some point the technologies may come together.
