The addition of IE 10 support allows the universal framework to target new platforms including Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8, as well as Windows RT for ARM-based tablet. For new users, a Live Tutorial application has been introduced that is designed to guide them through basic desktop and mobile examples. For qooxdoo’s web-oriented features, several new modules for local Storage, support for Placeholders in form fields, DOM element Placement, and client-side Messaging have been added, and cross-browser animations have been improved.
