HTML5 Boilerplate 2.0 Ready for Business

Aug 11, 2011

HTML5 Boilerplate has been used by many developers to create websites using the HTML, CSS and JavaScript templates. This week the developers who created the tool have released HTML5 Boilerplate 2.0, with updates and additional functionality.

This release tossed out the use of the reset stylesheet in favor of normalize.css, which keeps the useful browser defaults and only resets elements that are used to create a cross-browserr consistent style. HTML5 Boilerplate 2.0 also includes support for the mobile-friendly Respond.js, and facilitates faster build times.

To download and begin using HTML5 Boilerplate 2.0, visit the HTML5Boilerplate.com website.
