While the war between Adobe and Apple rages on, for those users who have “jailbroken” their iPhones, a new app called Frash enables them to view Flash on the iPhone’s Safari browser. The new app was created from Comex, who also created the browser-based JailbreakMe tool.
Although Frash is still in its early development stages, it works with with iPhone 4, 3GS, third gen iPod Touch and iPads running the latest software. Once an iDevice has been jailbroken, the device is ready for Frash to be installed.
By using Frash, users are able to view Flash in the mobile Safari browser. Not all Flash content works at this stage of development, however it will play basic Flash animations and advertisements.
