Meet Our DHTML Mentors

Ajay Sastry:

Hi!! My
name is Ajay Sastry. I am from India. I have a Master’s Degree in Zoology . I
got interested in Web Designing 3-4 years back and started learning HTML out of
pure interest. Later, I joined a computer institute and did a full length course
on HTML, DHTML with Front Page 98. I am at present working in Indian Institute
of Astrophysics, Bangalore, India, a premier institute in conducting research in
Astronomy and Astrophysics.

I have designed their website and have been maintaining the same since July
2000. I have an immense interest in HTML and CSS. I also have worked with few
image packages on LINUX OS like GIMP, XPAINT, etc.

Tee:

My name is Tee and I own my own web design
business in a small Western Kentucky town. Surprisingly, even in rural America,
the dot.com idea is alive and well. I have contracts in Kentucky, Illinois and
did some small pieces for a company in Chicago. I’m self taught in all aspects
of computers and web design, but still enjoy learning all that I can, and then
sharing what I’ve learned with others.

I’ve owned DesignWorks (http://www.dsgnworks.com)
for about 4 years now. Owning my own web design business was a dream of mine
that I thought would go up in flames when I was diagnosed with Multiple
Sclerosis, but, I’m proud to say I was able to still make it a reality and it’s
still going strong!
