HTMLGoodies Community Mentors: Design

Meet Our Design Mentors

Aida Guzman:

I am
co-founder and the Vice President of Internet Operations for A&E Enterprises of
NY, Inc. I ensure that all Web Designs are professionally created by
implementing my 5+ years of web site design experience. In addition to
developing a large portion of the company’s web site, I train the company’s
designers and ensures all design work is up to par.

Prior to A&E Enterprises, I worked at a NYC advertising agency with clients such
as Madison Square Garden, Bloomberg, The Kauffman Group, The New York Mets and
Toshiba. Working with these firms gave me a head start on design strategies and
the secret to what made design responsive to the masses.

I spend my free time developing Java Applets, Flash presentations, databases,
surfing the net, and exploring new and exciting Internet technology. This
ensures that clients’ web sites and Internet related services are always ahead
of the competition. My latest work entailed developing a complex database driven
web site for ShortLine USA.

Bob Conley:

I have been an instructor of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft
Office since 1996. I created course outlines, implemented and instructed
training programs on the Introduction to the Internet and Introduction to HTML
for government employees and their families. While employed for the government,
I programmed and designed their Human Resources Intranet Site. I have myself
taken classes in E-Commerce, Microsoft FrontPage and Microsoft Visual Interdev.
I am now partnered with a graphic artist and part owner of Interrobang Web
Design. For an up to date look at our clients we have developed sites for and
sites that are in development, please visit our web site at

Peter:

I have over six years of web design experience ranging in technologies such
as HTML, DHTML, XML, CSS, SSI, JS, PERL & CGI. I also currently hold my MCSE,
CCNA, A+, Network+ and iNet+ certifications.
