WordPress: Critical XSS Flaw Patch Released

WordPress version 4.2.3 was released today in an effort to resolve a newly discovered cross-site scripting vulnerability, or XSS flaw which could allow users with the Contributor or Author roles to compromise a website, said a member of the WordPress development team. In addition to the XSS flaw, this patch also fixes an issue where it was possible for a user with Subscriber permissions to create a draft through Quick Draft. Continue reading this story here.
