DBmaestro Teams with Delphix to Accelerate Data-Driven Application Development

DBmaestro, the leading provider of DevOps for database solutions, today announced a partnership with Delphix, the leading provider of agile data solutions, aimed at giving enterprise application teams the tools required to bring new applications to market faster. Together, DBmaestro and Delphix attack the largest obstacle in modern enterprise application development: managing the large volumes of data that prevent developers and testers from delivering on time, on budget, and on quality.

Organizations of every size are under pressure to deliver new or upgraded applications to market sooner, to maintain competitive advantage. Application teams must work in parallel to complete projects in less time but with higher quality. Traditional methods of data management, tied to physical databases, are simply too slow to support the pace of modern application development. In contrast, DBmaestro and Delphix users can create as many copies of large development and test databases as needed, in a fraction of the time and cost. Teams or individual developers can each work in parallel, through an enforced version control process, making sure best practices are followed, and easily integrating and merging their individual database changes. As a result, these teams complete database-driven application projects in 50% less time.

“We are excited to partner with Delphix to support agile change management,” said Yaniv Yehuda, CTO of DBmaestro. “When deployed together, our technologies enable development teams to work faster, be more flexible, and deliver higher quality apps, while providing increased visibility and traceability across all development, test and production stages.”

“Application teams want to move faster and parallel testing can help,” said Rick Caccia, VP of Strategy and Marketing at Delphix. “Delphix plus DBmaestro enables development teams to move quickly without stepping on each other, while easily integrating each developer’s database changes. ”
