Google Web Apps Support Killed for Internet Explorer 6 Users
The search engine giant announced their decision to drop IE6 support for Google Docs and Google Sites back in January. Now they have announced that even Google Reader, their RSS reader, will be unsupported as well, as is YouTube, which is phasing out support for the browser. Although users won't be blocked from the sites, they will only be able to access the sites "as is".
Although most users have moved on to Chrome, Firefox or upgraded versions of IE such as IE7 or IE8, some users at work or school computers will likely feel the impact. Other browser that will also lose support from Google include Firefox versions 1.0 and 2.0, Safari 2.0 and 3.0 and even Chrome 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0.
