Adobe Moves Forward with the Revolution of HTML5 Development

Sep 27, 2012

Beginning with Adobe Edge Animate 1.0, the shiny new tool that aids developers and designers in the making of animation and rich interactive content. Moving on to Edge Inspect, you may know this product as Adobe Shadow, Edge Inspect provides simultaneous cross-mobile-device previewing and debugging on a seemingly unlimited number of devices, instantly, quite a remarkable tool to see in action. And finally, but not least, the new Adobe Edge Web Fonts. This new service offering for web fonts offers developers over 500 free fonts with a brilliant and very reasonable licensing scheme that will make this a very attractive solution. Finally, worth mentioning, but not yet available, Adobe also announced to more tools to the arsenal, Edge Reflow, a tool designed to facilitate the development of what Adobe calls, Responsive web pages which adjust their layout simply by determining the resolution of the device to which the page is being displayed on. And also, Adobe Edge Code, a developer oriented code editor that provides a live preview of the content being developed and the ability to expand and edit CSS and JavaScript from within the HTML view versus the need to jump between tools or files.
