Yes Virginia, Famous Logos Can Be Created Using Nothing But CSS

Many publications and websites have worked hard to show off the potential functionality of HTML5 and JavaScript, and CSS3 has been shown to have some impressive capabilities itself. The folks at eCSSExpert have shown that they can create logos strictly using CSS3 and HTML–and no tables.

Famous logos (and famous people) that have been converted to pure CSS include Apple, McDonalds, Steve Jobs, Pepsi, Windows, Nike, Magento, Adidos, Adobe, Twitter, Atari and BP. The images work best in the Safari and Chrome web browsers, but also work in Firefox.

The eCSSExpert website also include CSS resources, and should be experienced to fully appreciate the true functionality that CSS3 provides.
