Web Dev Training and Software for Small Web Dev Shops: Microsoft WebSiteSparks

Feb 26, 2010

Microsoft this week announced its WebSiteSparks package designed for smaller web design and development micro companies. The WebSiteSparks package, which includes software and training, is provided for free for three years–as long as a website is developed using the tools within a 6-month period from signing up.

Small web design businesses have typically faced challenges, including training their staff, retaining their staff, and purchasing the software packages necessary to remain competitive in the ever-growing marketplace. In our economic state, many smaller design firms are suffering.

Microsoft hopes to address these needs with its WebSiteSparks package, which offers developers the ability to promote and expand their business using its marketing, business and partner networks. Developers can access the package at the Microsoft WebSiteSparks website.
