Top Draw for Websites? Decent Content!

Mar 27, 2010

Content on the web, which used to be mostly static, has become dynamic and socially integrated. Now web sites have to be interactive and engaging–content-driven Web sites get 73% more traffic than static sites.

While the technology that runs the web hasn’t changed much over the last 10 years, the way that users interact with sites has. It is now easier to publish content and communicate with your site’s visitors in real time. What used to be static, dead, stable content that didn’t change, has become interactive and engaging.

Content Management Systems (CMS) have matured, and open source software has improved the tools used by these CMSes. With the demand for content-driven sites, non-developers are able to use these tools to create the type of sites their visitors are looking for.
