Tips for Successful Mobile App Development

Mar 2, 2011

The next few years should be very profitable for the mobile app industry, which is expected be a global market worth over $46 billion by 2015, according to research by Forrester. Here are a few tips to help ensure that your mobile app is successful as the mobile industry skyrockets.

A leading UK app developer, Chetan Damani, sees four elements that make a successful app. “We have noticed that you need to have four key elements in the apps to make them successful. They need to be perfectly executed, provide a uniquely mobile experience, have an element of social and be convenient.”

The market is broad, with platforms from Apple, Google, Microsoft and others continuing to dominate, but whatever the platform, developers will be expected to rise to the expectations of consumers and create compelling, complex experiences.
