RAD Studio XE6 Extends Desktop to Wearable Devices such as Google Glasses

Apr 23, 2014

Embarcadero RAD Studio XE6 announced this week that they are taking a bold new route by extending desktop applications to other devices including wearable’s. A multi-device natively compiled app development platform for Windows, Android, iOS, and Mac represents the first C++ visual development environment for Android apps. RAD Studio promises to provide developers with an easy stress-free path to modernize their Windows applications with VCL enhancements. A simple recompile, no code changes, will now deliver the same app with either a native or custom user interface for iOS, Windows, and Mac OS X. In addition, Studio XE6 also now supports multiple versions of Android, including 4.4 KitKat. Read the full details here.
