The release of the Google+ APIs excited many developers. One developer, Daniel Treadwell, announced a public blog that he created using the Google+ API, which displays actual Google+ content and does not use more traditional JavaScript includes.
The ability to create live Google+ blogs, and soon, full-fledged applications using the Google+ API will be what sets it apart from other social networking sites such as Facebook. By changing the ID on the blog Daniel created, you can see how it would appear with another user’s data stream, including your own, if you have a Google+ account.
By being able to use the content from their own Google+ accounts within a blog site, developers could bypass the need for content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress. Blogger Robert Scoble already indicated that he would love to be able to replace his own WordPress blog with his public Google+ stream, once the Google+ blogging application has been completed.
