Foxconn, aka, the Taiwanese hardware maker Hon Hai has announced that they will be hiring as many as 3,000 new software developer and engineers to facilitate a software development business where they will build Firefox OS HTML5 apps. Foxconn plans to recruit up to 1,000 new engineers for its new partnership with Mozilla. The Firefox OS project which began earlier this month will build five Firefox OS devices, including a tablet, although these will be models for other OEMs and not sold directly to consumers by the company.
