The Mashery this week introduced the Mashery API Explorer, a free interface which allows developers to discover and test out APIs from various companies, including USA TODAY, Hotwire, Klout, Yellow Pages Group and Edmunds.com. The API is the first to automatically populate API keys securely, across multiple platforms.
The Director of Operations and Content Systems at USA TODAY, Erik Bursch, discussed the announcement, stating that “USA TODAY is excited to engage developers building web and mobile applications using Mashery’s API Explorer,” said Erik Bursch, Director of Operations and Content Systems at USA TODAY. “Our API team has been fielding developer requests to make interactive API documentation available for our valuable content. We think API Explorer and I/O Docs are useful tools for developers to get started quickly making live API calls on the USA TODAY digital media platform.”
